Radar's CO-OP Map Mods v1.2 - June 2013
===========================

Hopefully, if you have this text file, you didn't recieve it without also downloading a pack
of 36 common single-player Duke maps converted to CO-OP action. I, a Duker with the alias "Radar",
have taken the role of leading a project with the aim of modifying these amazing maps with suitable
gameplay for CO-OP action up to the maximum limit of 8 players at the time of writing.

As to not continue the unfortunate tendancy of piracy and theft that seems to be all
too common in the online realm of Duke, I have taken the time to list every map that I've
included, their original names, and their authors. I wish to give the right people credit here.
I did not make any of these maps, nor do I demand credit for my modifications.
The guys below are the geniuses, not me.

(For the first occurences of their names, I used their full one if provided.
After that, I shortened it up or went with their alias.)

Special thanks to guys like Mikko Sandt and a few others who always put
"Feel free to distribute the map and make money with it but make sure everyone knows this is our work"
at the end of all of their text files that came with their maps.
It takes humbleness to freely allow anyone to mod your maps, and I thank you for that.

Other mappers weren't so greatful, explicitly stating that their maps may not be modified under
any circumstance. Well then, welcome to the Duke community. Some of these mappers get way
too uptight over their work, spewing complaints when another mapper steals some spritework,
but when the latest total conversion for Duke Nukem 3D comes out
filled with tons of ripped art from other games (you know, REAL copyright infringent),
no one says a word. I'm only making these maps more popular. No Gambini, I'm not claiming
to have built It Lives. No Pascal Roauad, I did not author even a sector of Roch 8. Either way, it's
not like Mr. Roch didn't copy the Chteau de Cheverny in his Roch4 map. If he feels it's
nessecary to cry plagiarism, I'll have you know that Sir Philippe Hurault may have a few words
himself against Pascal in that case!
If anyone has any problems with my modifications, get over it. But if it makes you feel
better, feel free to contact me at dneamtu8@gmail.com.

Many of these mappers have requested that their original text files be included with their maps.
I have done so in a seperate folder.

NOTE: Many of these maps are non-standard. Some of them will only work in source ports that
support the extended sector/wall/sprite limits, which are JFDuke3D, Duke3Dw, and EDuke32.
Even the ones that don't surpass the standard limits are still quite complex and will crash
early on in the orginal DOS and XDuke/HDuke source ports. The three source ports formerly
listed are the only ones that will operate these maps.

JFDUKE3D AND DUKE3DW ARE NOT SUPPORTED!
Only EDuke32 using the included OldMP build has been tested with these AND IS SUPPORTED.
It is recomended one uses that build for best results.
